History and Philosophy of Science Notebooks
The History and Philosophy of Science Notebooks are aimed especially at those interested in the areas of Epistemology, Methodology, Theory of Knowledge and History of Science. Their main objective is to publish original articles and notes by national and foreign researchers, translations of texts concerning the most central themes of philosophical, methodological and historical reflection on science, and annotated translations of important texts in the historical development of this reflection, as well as reviews, bibliographical information, news about research, theses, courses, symposia and conferences in the areas of knowledge in which the Notebooks operate.

New Series - Announcement
The journal Cadernos de História e Filosofia da Ciência (Cahiers of History and Philosophy of Science), published by the Center for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science (CLE), Unicamp, with new editors Profs. Jairo José da Silva and Osvaldo Pessoa Jr., is launching its new series. Published since 1980 until now only in Portuguese, Cadernos will now also accept contributions in Spanish, French and English, in the areas of history and philosophy of formal sciences (logic and mathematics) and empirical sciences, pure or applied, with an emphasis on scientific rather than institutional issues.
Contributions should be sent to the CLE - Publications e-mail address, clepub@unicamp.br. The journal's decision, after analysis by our reviewers, will also be communicated to the authors by e-mail. The issues of this new series (two per year), as well as all previous issues, will be available for free download. Copies of specific articles or complete issues may be requested by e-mail at clepub@unicamp.br.
