Recent findings in biophysics and physiology reveal the existence of intra and inter-cellular calcium waves in many types of human cells and body tissues. The waves integrate intercellular functions. In the brain, calcium waves in the domain of neuro-astroglial interactions have been related to conscious feelings and emotions. Here we present a theoretical interpretation suggesting the involvement of some types of emotional patierns in the pathology of cancer.
